What does this mean? Your current device was previously FDA cleared for muscle strength training, as with other WB-EMS devices. With the new FDA Approval, the device can now be used to re-educate muscles, the relaxation of muscle spasms and preventing muscle atrophy as a prescribed treatment for rehabilitation, physiotherapy and more. This is significant, as miha bodytec II now has the FDA seal of approval for safe and effective Whole Body EMS training for physical medicine.
What can I use it for? The FDA lists the intended use for the miha bodytec II device as: 1 Regarding its use, the device is specifically designed as an addition to other sports and for training muscles. 2 miha bodytec II is intended to stimulate muscles in order to improve or facilitate muscle performance. 3 In addition, it is indicated for the following conditions: a Re-educating muscles b Relaxation of muscle spasm c Preventing disuse muscle atrophy d The miha bodytec II electrical impulses allow the triggering of action potentials on motoneurons of motor nerves (excitations). These excitations of motoneurons are transmitted to the muscle fibers via the motor endplate where they generate mechanical muscle fiber responses that correspond to muscle work, depending on the parameters of the electrical impulses (pulse frequency, duration of contraction, duration of rest, total session duration),
